Description Dan Dare II: Mekon's Revenge
Mekon, humanity's archenemy with an unquenchable thirst for power, is back. He has created the SuperTreens, a genetically modified species that seeks destruction, as well as a new spaceship. As Dan Dare, you must stop him.
You have gained access to Mekon's spaceship, which is filled with SuperTreens. As you find each of them, you must deactivate each control box before time runs out, and thus reach the next level. Mekon will try to reach and activate each one, with the help of his existing race of Treens. Although Dan has six lives, being caught by an explosion triggered by the destruction of a level without adequate shielding is Game Over. Extra lives are obtained incrementally starting at 50,000 points, while energy refills can be obtained throughout the game.
