Burn the Trash!

Windows 2007
Burn the Trash! is a single-screen shooter in which the player controls a spaceship and fights a series of 'trash' enemies and sometimes bosses. The 'trash' fires bullets that must be avoided so that the player's ship is not destroyed. To counter the enemies, the player's ship is equipped with a flamethrower and a beam that destroys the bullets. The player can also instantly switch to another ship, which is equipped with two weapons: a flamethrower and a laser that destroys nearby bullets. Two weapons can be used simultaneously to trigger special attacks. Whichever attack you use, your ship will generate heat, and if you fire it for too long, it will overheat and explode. The game has a timer, and when the time runs out, the game ends. Destroying enemies increases the timer. The game features a 'cluttered' graphical style, where all objects keep generating pixelated, blocky afterimages.

Clean Asia!

Windows 2007
Clean Asia! is a popular PC game released in 2007 by indie game developer, Red Hero Studios. The game gained a cult following due to its unique gameplay and stunning visuals, earning it widespread critical acclaim. Set in an alternate version of Asia, the game follows the story of a team of futuristic cleaners who are tasked with restoring the polluted and decaying continent to its former glory. The game takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where Asia has become a dystopian wasteland, covered in toxic waste and debris. The player takes on the role of a member of the Clean Asia team, equipped with advanced cleaning technology and weapons, and navigates through various levels to clean up the contaminated land. The game's story is told through a mix of in-game cutscenes and dialogue between characters, immersing players into the game's unique world. One of the game's most noteworthy aspects is its stunning graphics, which were ahead of its time in 2007. The desolate landscapes of Clean Asia are beautifully rendered, with attention to detail in every aspect of the game. From the crumbling buildings to the polluted waters, the atmospheric visuals add to the overall immersive experience of the game. The game's soundtrack also deserves a mention, as it perfectly complements the game's setting and adds to the game's overall atmosphere. Clean Asia! features a variety of gameplay elements, keeping players engaged throughout. From exploration and platforming to intense combat sequences, the game offers a diverse range of challenges. As players progress through the levels, they also unlock new cleaning technology, weapons, and upgrades, adding an element of customization to the game. The game's combat system is fluid and satisfying, with a range of weapons and abilities at the player's disposal. Players can use their cleaning tools, such as the vacuum gun and the energy mop, to fight off enemies and restore the polluted areas. The game's boss battles are especially thrilling, requiring players to strategize and use their arsenal of weapons effectively. In addition to the single-player campaign, Clean Asia! also offers a multiplayer mode where players can team up with friends and tackle challenges together. The multiplayer mode features unique challenges and rewards, encouraging players to work together and share their cleaning skills.

Decontrologic

Windows 2006
Decontrologic is a very short adventure game. You play as a nameless man who has just started his first day at a new job. You soon realize that the inside of the building is annoying, and you must fix it. Controlling your character is very easy, with the left and right arrows to move left and right, and the up arrow to interact with other people and objects.

Fractal Fighter

Windows 2007
Fractal Fighter is a shooting game in which the player's spaceship engages in one-on-one combat with several large enemy ships. The enemy ships are fractal-shaped, with several large lasers from the core, several heat-seeking missile launchers from the tips of the lasers, and branches of three more cannons and a small weak electric cannon. Only one type of enemy weapon is effective and vulnerable at any given time, and they fire bullets at you every few minutes. Destroying all enemy weapons activates the next layer of weapons, and destroying all large lasers destroys the enemy ship, which brings up the next layer of weapons. Two types of weapons are available to the player: the common barrage of bullets, and lasers that fire slowly but can pass through obstacles. It is also possible to set a target and fire a series of missiles. You can choose between 1 and 5 lives, and the more lives you have, the lower your score. There are two types of modes available: 'Normal Mode', in which you fight against 10 pre-determined ships, and 'Random Mode', in which you repeatedly fight against randomly generated ships.

Fuck Space!

Windows 2006
I was told there was a one in ten trillion chance. I couldn't believe it was someone else, but it had happened to me. Your girlfriend was killed by a fast-moving piece of cosmic rock, pulled by gravity, just as she had been pulled into your heart. . . . . And now you've sworn revenge on the universe. And now you've sworn revenge on the universe! Go out into space, redesign your car so that it can shoot lasers, and prepare to take on the entire universe. Send your car out for revenge! Your goal is to destroy as many space inhabitants as possible, be they small planets, alien cruisers or giant skulls. As the player progresses, new targets/enemies will appear, sometimes 'bosses' that will try to put an end to the player's quest for revenge.

God Came to the Cave

Windows 2006
The player controls Ectoplasma, a lost soul between the other world and this world, and guides him to save the lost soul. As the game begins, said souls are trapped in a cave, which at first begs for help, but eventually offers the player a helping hand. Given the metaphysical nature of the cave, it has some features not found in natural caves. In particular, the cave's colored barriers, which can only be traversed by turning on the appropriate shadow switch, change the hue of the colored crystal at the starting point, and visiting it changes the color of the player's avatar, allowing the barrier to be destroyed. The physics do not work the same as after death, and the player's ghost has difficulty taking sharp turns and curves. Most of the cave system is empty space, so the gameplay consists of exploring desolate caves, looking for switches and barriers, and backtracking to maneuver around sharp turns. At the end of the game, the player will have to find clothes and get dressed before leaving.

Illegal Communication

Windows 2006
Illegal Communication is a short surreal action game with minimalistic, vector graphics. The player controls a 'defense orb' that is placed to destroy 'Illegal Communication'. Controls and rules are not explained in the game, and players are expected to do all the research and challenge themselves. The orbs can be controlled with the mouse, but they have high inertia, so care must be taken when moving them. If the orb hits a wall or dangerous object, it will be destroyed and return to the last checkpoint. At this point, you will quickly find a rapid-fire weapon that can destroy the orb or affect certain objects.

Insect Invade II

Windows 2005
Insect Invade II is an action game in which the player controls a naked man who must defend himself from an onslaught of purple tentacled monsters falling from the sky. The weapon is a machine gun that is aimed and fired with the mouse, and grenades can also be fired. Power-ups occasionally appear from defeated enemies and are valid for a few seconds after collecting them. Power-ups include better weapons, 'weak enemies' that kill monsters in one hit, and 'grenade madness' that lets you fire grenades faster. Defeating monsters in the air with certain weapons will prolong the life of the current power-up. The hero dies instantly upon contact with a monster, and there is no set goal in the game other than to rack up as many kills as possible.

Ninja Flu

Windows 2006
Avian flu has spread to the ninja shrine where the fallen warriors of Iga live after their death. Now, sick ninja angels have fallen from the sky and threaten the earth with the plague. You, a ninja equipped with a missile launcher, must shoot them down before they reach earth. Ninja Flu is a shooting game with unusual controls. You can move left and right by pressing 'left' and 'right', and fire X missiles by pressing 'X missiles' ('X' is a number). The missiles automatically target the angels in the vicinity. However, if you fire too many missiles, most of them will fall to the ground, wasting your limited ammo. You can collect more ammo by picking up the occasional boxes that appear from destroyed angels.

Retro II

Windows 2006
Retro II is a scrolling shooter game. You shoot bullets or drop bombs from your round-shaped ship to orbit your ship and destroy enemies you touch. Shooting bullets and dropping bombs consumes energy, but it is quickly recovered. It is possible to collect temporary power-ups to upgrade weapons such as lasers, homing and multiple bombs, reduce time and upgrade them to increase energy capacity and the number of bombs that can be deployed simultaneously. Enemies die instantly on contact. Cross-shaped enemies are not affected by normal bullets, but can be destroyed by bombs, lasers and homing bombs.
