Speed 4 Dummies
Speed 4 Dummies is a sample game created by DIV Games Studio, in which you can see features like scaling and sprite rotation. like Wacky Wheels or Street Racer, played by one or two players against up to three computer opponents. A simple racing game. The game world is rendered in a flat pseudo-3D perspective, with cars represented by sprites rather than true 3D objects.
There are two tracks, forest and desert, and four types of cars, but players cannot choose the appearance of the cars they drive. The number of laps in each race is optionally selectable, with 3, 6 or 9 laps to choose from. There are no power-ups, and the car's speed is temporarily reduced to a minimum when it reaches a track limit, so the only way to victory is to go as fast as possible, slowing down in corners and going around the track carefully.
Speed 4 Dummies was packaged with full source code on the DIV Game Studio CD, and a binary version without the code was available for download from the suite's official website.
