The Hardy Boys invite you, as Nancy Drew, to travel west and investigate the train, now believed to be haunted. You, Frank Hardy and his brother, Joe Hardy, will help each other discover what has happened to the train and Jake. Search for clues on the train, in Jake's mine and elsewhere. Find important documents and objects to solve puzzles as you unravel the mystery.
Nancy Drew: Secret of the Old Clock
Released to commemorate Nancy Drew's 75th birthday, this is the twelfth in the series of first-person point-and-click adventure games in which you assume the role of the famous teenage detective.
It is set in the Depression-era town of Titusville, and the setting, clothing, and speech are representative of the early 1930s.
A friend asks Nancy to go see 17-year-old Emily Crandall, who runs the charming Lilac Inn. Money is tight, but a kindly neighbor tells her that she will inherit his estate after his death. But, when she dies, the will leaves everything to someone else! In addition to this unexpected and suspicious occurrence, some strange things have been happening lately. For example, several things have suddenly disappeared and reappeared . . strange whispers have been heard in the hallways when no one is there . . objects on the walls suddenly move on their own. Nancy deduces that Emily's situation is more complex than it appears. Determined to get to the bottom of it all, Nancy sets out to solve the mystery.
During her investigation, she explores the town of Titusville, talks to its inhabitants, finds and uses inventory items, and solves unusual adventure-type puzzles.
Nancy Drew: Secret of the Scarlet Hand
In this point-and-click adventure game you play the role of the famous teenage detective, Nancy Drew, as she completes an interesting summer internship as an assistant curator at a Washington D.C. museum, Beech Hill. The museum specializes in ancient Mayan culture, and part of Nancy's job involves working with Mayan artifacts and preparing them for display.
Shortly after starting her new position, Nancy learns that the museum has suffered a series of mysterious thefts. Only one clue has been left behind linking the seemingly unconnected incidents to a glowing red footprint. As she learns more about the Mayan civilization and its culture, she realizes that there is much more to the thefts than the authorities realize.
Part of Nancy's investigation involves traveling outside the confines of the Beech Hill Museum building to other parts of the Capitol City. She will take the Metro, visit a hospital, and meet characters at the Mexican consulate in Washington, D.C.
The Secret of the Sacred Hand is based on a book of the same name, the 124th in the paperback series.
