Dragon and Tandy never released an official port of Donkey Kong, but they did release a bunch of clones.
Unlike most clones, the first level is the 'pop rivets' screen from the original. Mario must run through all the rivets in a scaffold to loosen the structure so that it eventually falls, taking the 'Munkey' with it. The structure is full of wandering flames that must be avoided. An extra object in the form of a fire extinguisher can be used to put out the flames, but it only works for a short period of time and disables jumping and ladder climbing.
The second screen is a combination of two original screens, the 'barrels' screen and the 'elevator' screen, in which Dunkey throws barrels across platforms and Mario must take the elevator to get to the kidnapped girl. This screen is only reached after beating the first screen twice.
The Dragon version runs in four-color mode, while the CoCo version uses NTSC artifact mode for a color set that better matches that of the original.
