Imperium Galactica is a turn-based strategy game based on the 4X concept set in space. It is a clone of Imperium Galactum from 1984. Players select one of four available factions to dominate space through economic or scientific advances, military interventions, or diplomacy.
The main game screen displays a grid of dots, with star systems shown through a larger circle with a color representing the type of star. There are 5 game phases. The indicator change phase allows you to control the planet's economy by distributing credit points. The invention phase allows you to invest in the development of the four areas of scientific technology. The construction phase allows you to build or buy ships and infrastructure. The negotiation phase determines the hostility towards the other factions and allows to bribe them (the player can also transfer technology). The maneuver phase is for ship movement and space combat. The game allows up to 4 players to play offline.
The War of the Fifth Coalition against Napoleon's France had just begun. The Battle of Raszyn was fought on April 19, 1809 between the Polish army of the Duchy of Warsaw (commanded by Prince Poniatowski) and the invading forces of the Austrian Empire marching towards Warsaw. Despite outnumbering the enemy 2 to 1, the Austrian troops were defeated.
Raszyn 1809 is a turn-based tactical level strategy game for one or two players. You can command Polish-Saxon or Austrian forces - infantry and cavalry, supported by artillery. Apart from historical settings, fictional and random options are available. The player wins when he holds the village until night (or when it is captured by troops - when playing with the Austrian side).
The game comes with information about the historical background of the battle.
