Enigma: Rising Tide (Gold Edition)

Enigma: Rising Tide (Gold Edition) is a video game in the simulation genre developed by Tesseraction Games, Inc. and published by DreamCatcher Interactive Inc. originally released in 2005. It is currently playable on Windows.

The Gold Edition of Enigma. The Rising Tide updates the original game and adds several new features. It is a team-oriented naval battle simulator in which three major factions vie for supreme control of the Earth's oceans and seabed. You choose your commander from among three nations: United States, Germany and the Free League. You start as the commander of a single World War II ship, but as you gain experience and advance in rank, you can become the admiral of an entire fleet.

Climb aboard submarines, destroyers and other ships, strategically command your team and engage in fierce naval battles. Fire torpedoes or drop bombs. When swarms of enemy aircraft arrive, order them to return cannon fire from the deck. Take action with your own cannon. The game is designed to be realistic, with sea and atmospheric conditions, detailed equipment and ships, and a fast-paced story.

In addition to keyboard and mouse controls, the original version introduced a 'voice control system' that allows players to wear a microphone and enjoy the game hands-free. This Gold edition also features the 'Professional Crew Response' system, which allows users to confirm their own instructions. Other features include improved graphics and effects, more missions, and new ships and weapons.
