Description Erebus
You woke up cold. The last thing you remember is the land approaching. The wreckage of the plane is scattered across the Antarctic landscape. But if you're lucky, you can find shelter in a hut left behind by the Shackleton Expedition.
Erebus is a point-and-click adventure game named after the second largest volcano on the southernmost continent. Starting in the Antarctic desert, the game takes you from the bustling capital of Paris, to the scorching deserts of Egypt and inside a UFO.
Reminiscent of 'Dragon's Lair', the game requires quick decisions, as getting lost in the wrong place or making a late decision can mean instant death. Attention must also be paid to body temperature. Some places are too cold, others too hot. The rate at which body temperature changes depends on whether you are wearing clothes or not. If the body temperature falls outside a certain range, the person may die.
The goal is to learn the location of all the dead ends in sequence and advance further and further in the game. Most of the time will be spent going through maze-like obstacles and advancing to the next part of the adventure. In some locations there are items that can be collected for later use.
