Description First Samurai
'The Demon King descends from his mountain domain towards you, the First Samurai and your Master. Defenseless against the Demon's magic, you succumb to its powers, leaving your Master to fight the Demon King alone. Your master falls in combat, dying. But, with his last breath, he summons the Wizard Wizard. The Demon King, fearing defeat, escapes into the future. Tormented, the young samurai seeks the teachings of the Wizard Wizard in the ways of magic. Seething with vengeance and armed with a magic sword, the young samurai follows the Demon King into the future and the unknown. . . . '
The First Samurai is an action platformer much like other platform games, but with a medieval oriental twist plus several unique features.
Arriving in the new unknown land, you are helpless, therefore, with your fists and kicks. But as you progress, you will find your trusty magic sword, as well as throwing weapons such as knives and axes. With your martial arts skills, your enemy better watch out for those sudden moves that can prove fatal!
The First Samurai offers a wide range of weapons, special items and other items. Combat is usually melee, relying on your punches or kicks or using the magic sword to deliver some fairly deft blows in any possible direction.
Monsters are constantly regenerating, but food for health is plentiful. In fact, it takes some effort to get killed. . .
