Force 7

Force 7 is a video game in the action genre developed by Superior Quality Software and published by Datasoft, Inc. originally released in 1987. It is currently playable on Commodore 64, Apple II.

In Force Seven, the player is in charge of a specially trained squad consisting of seven crew members, all of whom have different skills. Their task is to infiltrate the power production plant on the planet KARIS, rescuing the survivors and destroying the aliens holding them captive.

The player is equipped with a flamethrower that can be used to destroy the aliens, but care must be taken not to destroy the survivors by accident. If the player spends too much time in a room, a green alien appears at its exact location. It is invincible to gunfire, so the player must get away as quickly as possible. If the player comes into contact with any alien, its energy is depleted. When the player has no energy left, the crew member he controls dies, forcing him to choose another member.

Also in each room are supplies, and the player can stock up on more ammunition, grenades or health if needed. Teleports in the facility take the player to a room with a blueprint reader. This allows the player to travel between the six floors of the facility or to another area within the same floor.
