Frisbee Golf brings the familiar course-and-score challenge of disc golf to Windows. Each hole begins at a tee and ends at a metal target basket, with the player trying to reach it in as few throws as possible. Fairways wind through open parkland and around natural hazards, making a clean line to the basket more valuable than simply throwing for distance. The rules are easy to grasp, but a good round depends on judging every shot and recovering well when a throw strays off course.

Before each throw, the player chooses a direction and power, then sends the disc toward the target. A long drive can cover much of the fairway, while shorter, more controlled throws help steer between trees or settle near the basket. The disc’s flight gives each attempt a clear arc, and the landing point determines the next position from which to play. Near the target, accuracy becomes paramount: a throw that reaches the basket’s vicinity is not enough unless it finishes within putting range. Each stroke counts, so risky attempts can save distance but quickly cost points.

The courses provide a variety of outdoor challenges, with trees, changes in elevation and other obstacles shaping the available routes. Players must look beyond the basket and consider where the disc will come down; a direct line may be blocked, while a wider approach can leave an easier final putt. The best route changes with the lie of each shot, giving even a straightforward hole a sequence of small decisions. Repeated play encourages players to learn the layout and refine their choice of angle and force.

The presentation keeps the action easy to follow, with colorful course scenery and a clear view of the disc’s progress. Baskets stand out as the principal landmarks, while trees and terrain define the fairways and demand careful aim. The visual style is practical rather than elaborate, placing emphasis on the course, the landing area and the next shot. Disc flight is central to the experience, and the camera makes it possible to judge the result of a throw before planning a response.

Audio adds a light outdoor character to the rounds, with effects accompanying the disc’s flight and its arrival at the target or ground.
