Galax-i-Birds is a video game in the action genre developed by Sensible Software and published by Firebird Software originally released in 1986. It is currently playable on Commodore 64.
In this Galaxian-style shooter, players control a ship that must dodge wave after wave of birds such as vultures, chickens, swans and parakeets. Ships can move left or right, and fire two shots at a time. In each wave, the birds fly towards the players in a kamikaze attempt to destroy their ship. Players move on to the next wave when they have killed all the birds in the stream. Lives are lost when the birds make contact with their ship, and the game ends when all lives have been lost.
