He was thrilled to learn that a month-long stay in an old mansion had been arranged for him. For an author of horror novels it was simply the ideal place to find inspiration and atmosphere for a new story, as the building itself had a history of its own: in the last 100 years an unusual number of murders and suicides were committed here, the last owners disappeared 7 years ago. Who knows, maybe there is too much truth in those spooky tales after all, as his publicist who got him the keys to this place is still hospitalized. . .
Hampton Manor is an interactive fiction horror game with a simple parser and the ability to save your progress. You are given a score to help you know how far you are in the story.
