Description High Command: Europe 1939-'45
As the title suggests, High Command puts you in command of either the Allies or the Axis during the most crucial points of World War II. In contrast to the microscale of Harpoon, this game is decidedly a strategic-level wargame in the style of Gary Grigsby's games: control Allied or Axis air, land, and sea forces in Europe.
Realism and well-researched scenarios get bogged down under poor AI, a cumbersome interface, and questionable supply logistics. Still, it's fun if you like realistic war games.
