Humpty Dumpty & Cock Robin

Humpty Dumpty & Cock Robin is a video game in the educational genre developed by Widgit Software and published by Commodore Business Machines (UK) Ltd. originally released in 1984. It is currently playable on Commodore 64.

Humpty Dumpty & Cock Robin is a collection of two educational programs for ages 7 to 10, where you have to guess who pushed Humpty Dumpty off the wall (two games) and who killed Cock Robin (one game) by process of elimination. The two programs contain:

Humpty Dumpty Mystery

Game One: You have a lineup of twelve of the Kings' men, each individually but sharing some of the same colors and face with some of the other men which are hat color, badge color, eye color, jacket color and whether he has a mustache. You must ask a question by pressing a key or typing the words such as 'Does he have green eyes?' If you guess right, all non-green eyes are eliminated; if you guess wrong, all green eyes are eliminated. The goal is to guess in as few questions as possible.

Second game: The culprit is shown for a few seconds before being shown a plain man. You then have to choose the different colors of the man you think has done it before you are shown the culprit again and see if you got it right or not. Both games have two difficulties and are either easier or harder.

Cock Robin

Cock Robin has been murdered and you have to work out the animal, place and time from a choice of three to six options. First you are asked which animal you think did it, where the murder took place and finally the time. You are then told how many you got right before you can select a clue for a category. The object is to guess the details of the murder with as few correct guesses as possible.
