Invitation

Invitation is a video game in the adventure genre developed by Loriciels and published by Loriciels originally released in 1987. It is currently playable on Amstrad CPC.

Having received the Invitation telegram from a mysterious baron, you, as a journalist specialized in occult sciences, have agreed to visit his mansion. At first glance, his residence seems absolutely uninhabited, but searching room by room you will find some objects: a crucifix, flasks, a key, a revolver, a dagger, etc. It seems that there is someone here to fight with.

The gameplay involves walking around the mansion (left, right, forward and back) and choosing actions such as searching the rooms for useful objects for a certain time, using these objects, reading and fighting the creatures that inhabit the mansion such as bats, rats, cobras, fanatics, etc. By attacking you, the monsters deplete your potential and your mental health until you are moved to the mansion's cemetery. So you have to survive for a certain period of time until midnight. You also have to search for clues such as secret codes to solve the mystery around the baron and his mansion, and finally find and burn the pentagram.

It is possible that we have multiple downloads available when different versions exist.
