LEGO Fever is a video game in the action genre developed by gameLab and published by LEGO System A/S originally released in 2006. It is currently playable on Windows.
LEGO Fever is a platform game based on the popular construction toy. The game focuses on two LEGO minifigs, Harry and Jens, who try to bring color and creativity to a dull, gray world through the power of LEGO bricks.
There are three game modes: the first, Puzzle mode, is very similar to GameLab's previous title, Junkbot. Players must place and tap LEGO bricks to help Jens advance through the levels and turn the dull, gray human into a jolly minifigure; Jens always runs in one direction and only changes direction when a tall object or wide gap gets in his way. He can climb objects as tall as a brick and jump over gaps as wide as a brick, but will back off when faced with taller or wider obstacles. Also, avoiding the dripping gray liquid will detract from your creativity and cause you to lose the level. Players are challenged to complete the level in as few moves as possible.
In Pursuit mode, Harry is constantly running and trying to free as many bored people as possible as the screen scrolls to the right. As in Puzzle mode, players will have to place Lego blocks and avoid dripping taps as they move through the level. Placing the blocks consumes energy from the 'brick energy' meter, which can be replenished by collecting energy pellets.
In pincer mode, players must drag and drop bricks to stack three or more bricks of the same color. When a stack is created, the energy meter fills up and must be refilled within a time limit. There are 'Normal' and 'Expert' levels.
