Description Master Blaster

You are the pilot of a Federation Clearance Ship and your job is to make sure that the space lanes between Pluto and Mercury are free of asteroids (reduced in size when fired), alien ships and shooting stars. You must clear three sectors for each planet in the Solar System before attempting to dock with the Factory Ship. The game is viewed from above your ship with the entire sector displayed on screen. You can turn your ship left and right, as well as push it forward, and you must shoot anything that moves on the screen. Once a sector is clear, you must enter a door to move to the next one.

If you get hit by any object you lose one of five lives, but your ship has a limited shield which is seen on an indicator and when it empties you lose this option for the rest of the game. Smart bombs will destroy everything on the screen, but they are also limited, although you can go into hyperspace to another part of the screen as many times as you want. Once you have cleared three sectors, you will dock to the factory ship at the top of the screen with a gap that moves left or right. Go through the gap without touching the ship and you will have docked and can move on to the next planet.

Master Blaster is based on the arcade game Asteroids and you use the keyboard to control your ship.
