Metathrone is a Windows game released in 2008. It is a singleplayer, real-time strategy game set in a dark, gothic world where players take control of one of four factions vying for supremacy.
The four factions in Metathrone are the humans, the elves, the dwarves, and the undead. Each faction has its own strengths and weaknesses, and the player must learn to use these to their advantage in order to win.
The game is played on a map that is divided into hexes. Players can move their units around the map, and can also build structures on the hexes that they control. These structures can be used to produce units, or to provide other benefits such as increased resource production.
Metathrone is won by either defeating all of the other factions, or by capturing and holding the three main cities on the map. The game features a number of different unit types, and each unit has its own unique abilities.
The game also features a number of different environment types, including forests, mountains, and deserts. These environment types can provide different benefits or penalties to units depending on their type.
