"Mindcube" is a DOS game released in 1990. The player controls a cube which can be moved around a 3D environment. The objective of the game is to collect all of the Mindcubes in each level and reach the exit.
The game is divided into three difficulty levels, each with its own set of levels. The easy difficulty level contains 9 levels, the medium difficulty level contains 18 levels, and the hard difficulty level contains 27 levels.
The player can move the cube around the environment by using the arrow keys. The cube can also jump by pressing the space bar. The cube can only jump a certain height, so the player must use other objects in the environment to reach higher areas.
The Mindcubes are located in various places in each level. Some are located in plain sight, while others are hidden in secret areas. To collect a Mindcube, the player must simply touch it with the cube.
The player must also avoid touching certain objects in the environment, such as spikes or lasers. If the cube touches one of these objects, it will be destroyed and the player will have to start the level over from the beginning.
The game contains a password system which allows the player to continue from the last level they played. To receive a password, the player must collect all of the Mindcubes in a level and reach the exit.
