Mr. Ee!

Mr. Ee! is a video game in the action genre and published by Micro Power Ltd originally released in 1984. It is currently playable on BBC Micro.

Mr. Ee! is a variant of the arcade game Mr. Ee! The gameplay is very similar and features a wizard who has to tunnel through the earth to try to collect all the cherries. At the same time, he has to watch out for the bad guys chasing him, called umphs, who will kill him when he comes in contact with them. You can kill the umphs by throwing a crystal ball that bounces through the tunnels until it hits something or by making apples fall on them. Only one crystal ball can be used at a time and then the player has to wait for another one to appear.

Umpires that get stuck become diggers who can dig their own tunnels through the ground. There are also letter monsters that appear after every 5000 points and each has a letter that spells the extra word. When all five are killed, an extra life is given. Once all the umphs have left their base in the center, food will appear. If collected, all enemies will stop in their tracks and the letter monster maras will appear in their place. The maras eat the apples blocking their way and when killed they turn into apples. When the letter monster or all the maras have been killed, the normal enemies come back to life. A level is completed by killing all the maras or eating all the cherries.
