Muscle Car 3: Illegal Street is a racing game released in 2003 for the Windows platform. Developed by the game studio, Thunder Mountain, this game takes players on an adrenaline-fueled journey through the dangerous world of illegal street racing.
The game features a selection of iconic muscle cars from the 1960s and 1970s, each with their own distinct characteristics and handling. With stunning graphics and realistic sound effects, players truly feel like they are behind the wheel of these powerful machines as they race through the streets of three different cities – Miami, Los Angeles, and New York.
One of the main highlights of Muscle Car 3 is its immersive gameplay experience. The game offers a wide range of challenges and tasks for players to complete, from drag races and circuit races, to time trials and police chases. As players progress through the game, they can unlock new cars and upgrade their current ones to improve their chances of winning races. However, be careful because in this game, losing a race means losing your car, adding an extra layer of intensity and risk to each race.
What sets Muscle Car 3 apart from other racing games is its unique storyline. As players navigate through the cities, they are also drawn into a thrilling plot filled with rival gangs, betrayal, and high-stakes races. The choices players make in the game can lead to different outcomes, making every playthrough a new and exciting experience.
The game also offers a multiplayer mode, allowing players to race against each other in real-time. This adds an extra level of competition and excitement as players try to outdo each other with their driving skills and customized cars.
Muscle Car 3: Illegal Street received critical acclaim for its stunning graphics, engaging gameplay, and immersive storyline. The game also won several awards, including Best Racing Game at the 2003 Interactive Achievement Awards.
