Neptune's Daughters

Neptune's Daughters is a video game in the action genre and published by English Software Company, The originally released in 1983. It is currently playable on Commodore 64, Atari 8-bit.

Players control Neptune, who explores the depths of the ocean in search of his captive sea serpent daughters. The game is divided into two sections. In the first, the player guides Neptune through a series of underwater caverns while destroying jellyfish. The player must also cut down the weeds that stand in his way. The weeds grow back to their original size after a few seconds, so the player must swim past them in a limited amount of time.

In the second section, the player has to shoot the crabs while avoiding falling debris. By shooting the crabs, the player can pick them up and carry them to the nearby structure, where the player will see the daughters trapped in an aquarium guarded by the snake. To free her, the player must drop the crab on the snake's tongue. If the player repeats this enough times, the daughter is released and the game restarts at a higher difficulty level.
