Ooops Up

Ooops Up is a video game in the action genre developed by Silicon Warriors and published by Demonware Softwarehaus GmbH originally released in 1990. It is currently playable on Amiga.

In this game, you are a space traveler lost in space. You have to travel to 100 stars (or levels), to collect the necessary components to build a new spaceship, one that will be able to take you back to earth.

The game is very similar to the better known Pang. Each level is a single screen, and to complete it, you have to destroy some bouncing asteroids. If you touch one of them, or time runs out, you lose a life.

Your weapon is a kind of harpoon that can only shoot upwards. When you hit an asteroid, it splits into two smaller versions of itself, unless it is already the smaller variant. If that is the case, it is eventually destroyed. When all asteroids are destroyed, you travel to the next star. Repeat this 100 times, and your ship is complete, and the game is won.

You can also get different bonus items, such as a weapon, time stops, shields that make you temporarily invulnerable, and other things.
