Panzer Strike!

Panzer Strike! is a video game in the strategy genre developed by Strategic Simulations, Inc. and published by Strategic Simulations, Inc. originally released in 1988. It is currently playable on Commodore 64.

Panzer Strike is a tactical level simulation of small unit actions during World War II. Three theaters are covered: the entire Eastern Front, the Western Front campaigns not involving American troops, and the North African Campaign. Panzer Strike includes virtually all ground weapons used by the combatants in this theater (over 250 types of weapons). Units consist of infantry squads or individual guns and tanks. You can choose to simulate individual battles or entire campaigns spanning several years. In individual battles you can play against another person but in campaigns you play against the computer. The ultimate goal of campaign games is to fight and win as many battles as possible before the war ends. If you suffer heavy losses during a battle, it will take you a long time to replace and upgrade your forces before you can fight the next battle. Individual scenarios can last between 30 minutes and 2 hours, while campaigns can last up to 30 hours.
