Description Patience
Patience for Mophun brings the familiar solitaire challenge to portable play, presenting a classic Klondike-style layout on a compact card table. The screen is organized into a draw pile, a waste pile for temporarily revealed cards, several tableau columns, and four foundation slots reserved for complete suits. The objective is straightforward: arrange and move every card to the foundations in ascending order, creating neat, suit-complete stacks while maintaining legal tableau placement rules.
Gameplay centers on the standard tableau mechanics of Patience. Cards in the tableau build downward by rank, alternating colors from one card to the next to form alternating sequences. When a tableau column is emptied, the game opens a gap that can only be filled by a king, keeping the field balanced as new moves are made. Once a suitable card becomes available, players can shift it to the foundation where each suit climbs upward from Ace toward King. Revealing cards from the draw pile extends options, and the waste pile acts as a staging area for further tableau and foundation moves.
Controls are designed for quick selection and transfer during short sessions. A card or pile is highlighted using the handset’s primary navigation keys, then confirmed to move to the highlighted target area. Legal moves are enforced automatically, preventing invalid transfers. Smooth card animations accompany successful moves, including dealing from the draw pile and cascading placement effects when cards stack correctly. Common helpful features such as undo of recent actions and automatic recognition of valid placements support players who want to correct missteps or refine a promising line of play.
The presentation emphasizes clarity and legibility, with crisp card artwork framed against a clean, neutral table background. Card faces and suits are rendered in high contrast so that ranks and colors remain readable in motion. The foundation and tableau areas remain visually distinct, and the game uses consistent highlights to indicate what is selectable and where a move can be made. Subtle visual feedback marks key events such as completing a foundation stack or clearing a tableau column.
Audio complements the tactile pace of solitaire. Each card movement triggers small, discrete sound cues—light taps for selecting and placing cards—while successful completions are met with slightly more noticeable victory tones. When no progress is possible, the silence between actions keeps attention on the available options. The resulting experience is a measured, puzzle-like rhythm: scan the board, reveal new cards, test combinations, and work toward the final suit stacks through careful planning and rapid, rule-guided movement.
