Princess Minerva

Princess Minerva is a video game in the role-playing (rpg) genre developed by Riverhill Soft Inc. and published by Riverhill Soft Inc. originally released in 1994. It is currently playable on TurboGrafx CD.

Princess Minerva is based on the anime of the same name. In the kingdom of Whistler, the best fighters are young and beautiful women who master many fighting styles. Princess Minerva is one of them. She participates in a tournament, fights against the best female fighters in the country, and eventually joins forces with them, forming a super-powerful group that is destined to defeat the archenemy of the Queen of Whistler, the evil sorceress Dynastar.

The game begins when the girls are already united and preparing for the great quest. Your group consists of nine girls, each with various stats and magic spells. The large group is divided into three smaller ones, and you switch between them as you participate in random battles and fight bosses. Combat is turn-based and is viewed from a top-down perspective, much like the locations you visit. You travel around the world map, visit cities and descend into dungeons. The three active girls in your party can also team up for combo attacks.
