Description Protector
Protector is an action game that is played from a top-down perspective and can only be controlled with the joystick. In the center of the screen is a series of pods and the player's goal is to protect them from thieves who are trying to steal them. To stop a thief, the player simply ram them by moving his ship over them. Double points are awarded if the thieves are killed after they have collected pods and leave the screen. Besides the thieves there are other things to watch out for. There are monsters that kill the player on contact and there are UFOs that drop mines that can also kill the player. However, UFOs can be eliminated in the same way as thieves. Once all the thieves have been killed, the game moves on to the next level, where there are more enemies. The player has three lives, and when they run out or all the capsules are stolen, the game ends.
