3D Lunattack

The war against the Seiddab continues, and now you participate in an attack on their lunar base. You pilot a hovercraft a little above the lunar surface and you must shoot down the enemy's DAB tanks. Once you have penetrated that ring of defense, you must negotiate a space minefield over a mountain range, and then a missile firing range before reaching the Seiddab's command base. Unlike its predecessor, 3D Seiddab Attack, you now fly and can perform more adventurous maneuvers.

3D Space Wars

The first game starring the evil Seiddab, D Space Wars delivers exactly what the title promises. As soon as you step out into outer space, your cockpit screen fills with alien spacecraft that you must shoot down, as you are humanity's last hope, armed with the only combat spacecraft left on Earth. The game is arcade-oriented, with few cockpit gauges to be aware of. The three cockpit instruments are the radar, speed indicator and fuel gauge. You run out of fuel when you fire your phasers and when you are hit by enemy fire. You can replenish your fuel by docking at the fuel station that appears from time to time. Once you have destroyed all the Seiddab spacecraft in the area, you move on to the next area. This was the first commercial game by Steve Turner (Spectrum) and Andrew Braybrook (Dragon).

Astaroth: The Angel of Death

You must guide Ozymandias through the catacombs of Astaroth's domain. To aid you in your quest, you can collect nine different mental powers, which act as power-ups. These powers include levitation, which allows you to float, pyrokinetics, which allows you to create fire with your mind, and shape-shifting. The game is of the platform type and you must jump and dodge the various obstacles you encounter. Among the monsters you will encounter there are giant scorpions, beholders and fire elementals. You will have to defeat the 3 guardians of Astaroth's soul along the way, first a sphinx, second a 3-headed hydra and finally a marlith demon. Once you have defeated the guardians, you will have to face Astaroth herself in a battle of minds using the power-ups you have collected.

Christmas Collection

Here is the video game 'Christmas Collection'! Released in 1989 on the Amstrad CPC, it is still available and playable with some tweaks. The game is set in a compilation / shovelware theme.

City Slicker

In City Slicker Abru placed a bomb in the Capitol building and your job is to disarm it in time. The idea is to find each component of the bomb disarming device (BDU) and take it to its hiding place in the building, where you will finally find the bomb. The game starts at 8:00 AM and you must save the politician before 12:00 PM. Coming into contact with hostile characters or falling from a high place will consume the limited energy of the muff. Collecting and using items is critical to the game. If another character has an item you need, you can push that character from a high place or drop a heavy object on him.

Custodian

Amiga 1989
In Custodian the player assumes the role of caretaker of a nuclear-powered alien graveyard. It has been infested by energy-draining parasites and the player's job is to defend against them. There are three tombs, each of which is a sprawling environment that scrolls in multiple directions. The player uses a jet pack to move around and searches for the pods that the parasites use to extract energy. They must be taken to a special room to destroy them there. The goal is to get rid of all the pods in a level, but the parasites have something against this. And so they actively try to kill the protagonist, but fortunately the protagonist has ten weapon systems at his disposal to shoot back. Well, at least if you buy them in special silos with earned points. The total energy reserves of the tomb act as a time limit.

Cyberdyne Warrior

Players control a space marine who must search for droids on three planets - Gemini, Sirius and Arius - while avoiding the planet's inhabitants and dangers. Energy is lost when players come into contact with an inhabitant. Up to three weapons can be used to destroy the inhabitants. Once all droids are collected, players head to the next planet, where new inhabitants are introduced and the number of droids to collect increases. Players have a limited time to do this, but like energy and ammunition, it can be replenished by buying more at the store (only one store per planet).

Cybernoid II: The Revenge

The sequel to Cybernoid: The Fighting Machine is once again an on-screen shooter. In control of the deadly Cybernoid ship, your job is to rescue cargo that has been stolen by a wave of pirate ships. Using the range of weapon systems correctly is again a key factor. These include side-targeting cannons, bouncing bombs, 'seeker' smart bombs, bombs that move around the edge of the screen before finding a target, and time-sensitive bombs that explode a few seconds after you launch them. Fired pirate ships drop cargo, and you must collect at least 1500 points of it, but on many screens it is wiser to escape as soon as possible, as some screens have more hazards than others, and not all aliens on each screen act in the same way.
