Apachacha

DOS 1993
Apachacha is a side-scrolling action game with slight platforming elements, starring a Native American warrior who must save the land from an evil demon and his minions. The player advances from stage to stage in a strictly linear fashion. The stages themselves are fairly simple, dominated by enemies rather than hazards. The warrior can accumulate and use several throwing weapons simultaneously, and also execute a powerful melee attack that depletes his special energy bar. This bar can be restored with the objects left by the enemies when defeated. Each stage ends with a boss battle. The game has no save function.

Izmir

DOS 1995
Izmir is a 3D sci-fi shooter with a chase view similar to Space Harrier. The player controls an armored mech that is deployed on a hostile planet and has to destroy or avoid mechanized enemies and traps in its path. The mecha can fly freely or advance along the ground; although most of the obstacles are located there, it is necessary to descend from time to time to collect ammunition. The protagonist can acquire different weapons throughout the game, including energy guns and bombs. Each stage ends with a boss battle..

Lychnis

DOS 1994
One hundred years ago, a fearsome dragon nearly destroyed the entire world, but was stopped and sealed by Prince Grinstain of Bamas and the royal princess Respina of Pars, who used magical equipment from Hartinum to defeat it. However, a malevolent sorcerer named Sakiski has appeared in the land of Laurasia, using the princess of Bamas in a cruel sacrifice to restore the dragon's power. The young knight Lychnis and an apprentice wizard from Pars named Iris are the only ones who can recover Hartinum's hidden arsenal and stop Sakiski. Lychnis is a Korean-made side-scrolling platformer. The player can choose to control either Lychnis or Iris; the knight fights with his sword and can jump over walls, while the mage uses ranged attacks with a staff and can jump twice. Some areas can only be accessed by a specific character. Enemies, treasure chests and various items can be found on the stages. When defeated, enemies drop coins, health-restoring items or other power-ups. If a special 'store' icon is collected, the player gains access to a store between stages, which allows them to upgrade weapons and the character's maximum health. With the exception of the final showdown, there are no boss battles in the game. There is also no password function or any other possibility to save the player's progress.

Super Beemger

DOS 1994
Super Beemger is a horizontal scrolling shooter game in which the player controls a transforming spaceship that fights mechanical and organic aliens in deep space and their bases. The defining feature of the game is the ship's special moves, which are executed by pressing a button. Among these moves are mecha transformation, energy recharge, an offensive shield and a powerful attack that destroys all enemies on screen. All of these moves deplete a special energy bar, which is gradually refilled. The player can choose between three firing rates, which influence the speed of regeneration. When in mecha form, the ship can perform straight and scattered shots, typical of shoot-em-ups. However, the normal form relies exclusively on homing weapons that hit multiple enemies but cannot directly target individual enemies. Switching between these two forms is essential for survival.

Super Samtong

DOS 1994
Super Samtong is an action role-playing game starring the titular character, a former Mirinae mascot who became the property of Sailon after the parent company's split. This round, yellow creature finds himself in the unusual role of a powerful hero: an evil overlord has kidnapped the princess of a fantasy land, and she sends a distress signal to the real world. Samtong receives the signal, jumps into an alternate dimension and embarks on a quest to rescue the princess. The game has two main perspectives: aerial and side-scrolling. The aerial zones are populated by friendly characters and require Samtong to obtain items needed to enter the next zone, as well as purchase equipment. The action takes place in side-scrolling dungeons populated by enemies. Samtong battles them in fairly simple action-oriented combat, receiving gold and experience for his victories.

The Day 4: Icarus

DOS 1994
Icarus is (despite the number in its title) the third installment in the Korean series of horizontal scrolling sci-fi shooter games. Once again, Captain Lee and his friends must stop an army of mechanized creatures from destroying Earth. Power-ups change the weapon's properties or improve the current weapon by lengthening the shot, adding three-way fire, etc. However, if a different weapon is chosen, it reverts to its default weak form. The player can choose between two pilots, but their ships only differ in their default weapon. For the first time in the series, there is a two-player co-op mode. The two spaceships, controlled simultaneously, can combine to form a giant mecha.
