1999

Kent Knutson is a teenager living in the city of Neutropolis. The city is controlled by a totalitarian regime, which prohibits people from expressing any emotion that deviates from the prescribed norm, such as joy and happiness. Kent is arrested by the Norms, the Neutropolis police force, and imprisoned for whistling a happy tune. In jail, he receives an anonymous note telling him that there is a resistance group somewhere in the city, intent on overthrowing the dictator of Neutropolis. The question is: how can Kent find this resistance group? Normality is an adventure game made entirely in 3D, similar to Under a Killing Moon, though with more colorful, cartoonish visuals. Aside from the somewhat unusual (for the genre) engine, the game plays out like a traditional puzzle-solving adventure, relying primarily on manipulating the objects Kent can pick up and put in his inventory.

Galactic Warrior Rats

DOS, Amiga 1993
Einstein, Newton and Darwin are the Galactic Warrior Rats, mutant hybrids that come under your control in this top-down multidirectional shooter. Your plan is to save the heavily contaminated planet Smeaton Five by destroying its robotic defenses and the computer set to blow it up. You have to shoot down many enemies along the way, but most drop credits when you shoot them; wait a few seconds for them to appear. You have three lives, and each rat represents one life, meaning all upgrades are lost when you lose a life, and each rat's protective biosphere has the ability to withstand a few shots. Before going into action, you can spend your initial 500 credits on upgrades and weaponry. Your movement has a certain degree of inertia, which makes it more difficult for you to stop in one position.

Gladiators

You are the best helicopter pilot in existence and because of your heroics you are now part of the Gladiator Squadron. Your job is to patrol unconquered lands to keep the peace. One day, while patrolling eight small islands, you receive a distress call. To secure these strategically important islands, you must enter and destroy the enemy so that the ground forces can enter. To stop you in your tracks are many enemy vehicles such as helicopters, planes, trucks and ships. You also have to destroy buildings, bridges and planes on the airfields. To help you in your mission you can collect power-ups that improve your weapon, your damage meter or your score. Gladiators is a 1 or 2 player horizontal scrolling shooter. The joystick is used to control your helicopter and the fire button to fire your weapon. On the screen you can also see your score, lives and the all-important damage meter. In a 2-player game, both players take turns when a life is lost to play the game.

Soccer Team Manager

DOS, Amiga 1994
Your main role is to manage a soccer team and see how it evolves after each match, which makes or loses you money, without ever seeing or participating in the action on the field. Choose from the British and Italian soccer leagues to customize your own team from a selection of the best players to hire, fire or trade with another club. The decisions you make will determine your success, if you choose wrong it will be reflected in the overall results. To help you in the process, you can review their salaries and receive weekly financial information after a game. Choose the avenue for your team to play, some are more expensive than others as are the best teams you play against. A good crowd helps you make a profit, as you get a percentage of the total ticket sales.
