Pure-Stat College Baseball is a sports simulation that allows the player to replay individual games or entire baseball seasons, past or present, while keeping a permanent record of his team's statistics using the built-in statistics compiler. In this simulation. The player can relive 8 great Major League Baseball teams, from the 1927 New York Yankees to the 1976 Cincinnati Reds.
The game allows player vs. player, player vs. computer and computer vs. computer play. The player can choose to play at Yankee Stadium, Dodger Stadium or Sublogic Stadium. The player on defense sets the type of pitching and fielding position. The players at bat set the type of batting they wish to perform. The computer calculates the resulting play, which is displayed in animated form on the screen.
