Quasar

Quasar is a video game in the action genre developed by Decroix - Garofalo and published by Loriciels originally released in 1986. It is currently playable on Atari ST.

You are a space jet pilot in this top view arcade game. In 15 levels from one to another you must eliminate the maintenance of a certain type placed on the asteroids in different ways, the complexity of which increases with the level number. Hostile spaceships attack you as if they want to crash into you as kamikaze. You can shoot them with a gun and move in four directions on the screen to avoid them or their shots.

Between levels to acquire a bonus you (without ability to shoot) must break through different arcade sequences such as flying through the series of small asteroids, or enemy space planes, or acquire bullets or improved weapon avoid collisions.

Each collision means the decrease of your available space jets, the amount of which can increase with the score. Also the amount of bullets for each of your space jets in each level is limited, so shoot wisely.

After finishing the game you will be able to enter the highscore table.
