Quick Step is a video game in the action genre developed by Imagic and published by Imagic originally released in 1983. It is currently playable on Atari 2600.
Quick Step is a game in which a kangaroo and a squirrel jump on a trampoline to score points. The screen consists of a series of trampolines that scroll down. The trampolines at the top of the screen are gray, and when they change to pink, the trampoline becomes playable. Each time you jump on a trampoline, the color changes: kangaroos are green, squirrels are blue, and so on. You get 3 points for jumping on a pink trampoline, and 6 points if the trampoline of your color falls to the bottom of the screen (you don't get points for jumping on your opponent's color, but you do get points if the trampoline of your color falls to the bottom, so you want to get as many points as possible). When the trampoline falls to the bottom of the screen, you lose a life, and when you run out of lives, the game ends and the player with the most points wins. If there is a white trampoline, it is a magic hat, and if you pick it up and then jump to the same space as your opponent, you can temporarily stun him. Each player also starts the game with six tricky traps. By pressing a button, the trampoline will disappear and no one will be able to land on it.
