Quiz Avenue II

Quiz Avenue II is a video game in the strategy genre developed by Mutech and published by NEC Avenue, Ltd. originally released in 1991. It is currently playable on TurboGrafx CD.

Quiz Avenue II, like its predecessor, is a quiz game with a story-based quest mode that continues the plot of the first game. After the defeat of the evil Shameless, peace was restored to the kingdom of Erudition; however, demonic forces soon appeared on the horizon, and two young warriors, a boy and a girl, were sent by the queen to stop them.

The quiz rules in this installment are largely the same as in the previous entry, with three or four answers to choose from for each question and a time limit. Advancement on the board, however, is determined by choosing cards with the number of steps written on them, rather than the point-to-point movement of the first game. New is the two-player mode for the quest, in which the second player controls the heroine and the two answer the questions simultaneously. Some new features have been added, such as the possibility of acquiring various bonuses before a quest encounter. The party mode is replaced by the so-called 'F1 Grand Prix', which is a series of trivia questions in which each round is presented as a Formula 1 race.

It is possible that we have multiple downloads available when different versions exist.
