Realmz

Realmz is a video game in the role-playing (rpg) genre developed by Fantasoft LLC and published by Fantasoft LLC originally released in 1999. It is currently playable on Windows.

Realmz is a tile-based fantasy role-playing game engine that runs scenarios, which are separate stories with their own collections of quests, items, NPCs, etc. set in the game world.
An initial set of low-skilled characters is available, but players can choose to generate their own. This set of characters is distributed among the scenarios, gaining experience (skill levels).
There are 19 races (besides humans or elves, there are less common ones, such as elves) and 19 castes (professions), with a detailed set of characteristics (even aging is taken into account).
In addition to the maps, an automatic diary facilitates the game. Both travel and combat are turn-based.

The game was available for free in November 2008.
