Repton Thru Time

Repton Thru Time is a video game in the action genre developed by Impact Posters and published by Superior Software Ltd. originally released in 1988. It is currently playable on BBC Micro, Electron.

Repton Thru Time is the last of three standalone expansion packs for Repton 3. It includes 40 new levels made in the map editor that was included with the original game. This time Repton travels through time and visits various historical locations. There are five sets of levels, each with eight levels. Each set represents a historical era or location and are as follows:Prehistoric Era Ancient Egypt Victorian Era Now FutureThe gameplay is the same as in Repton 3, but all objects have been replaced with objects related to the setting. Instead of diamonds, there are, for example, berries in the prehistoric levels and papyrus scrolls in the Egyptian levels. Boulders have been replaced by garbage cans in the modern levels and by urns in the Egyptian levels, etc. Similarly, each level has different enemies, for example, policemen in Victorian levels and aliens in futuristic levels. Repton's appearance also differs from level to level with costumes typical of the era.
