Description Roman Empire
In Roman Empire the player takes the role of the emperor of Rome, in the 1st century B.C. Your goal is to successfully expand the empire by occupying neighboring countries. Each year you must make decisions (through text menus), either to gather armies of legions, to appoint generals to command them, and finally to launch campaigns against your enemies (which last more than one turn, you can reinforce or withdraw armies). Battles are resolved by the computer each turn. Troops are characterized by their quality, morale and fatigue levels. With your armies fighting outside, watch out for the barbarians!
There are 3 difficulty levels. Some versions (Atari, Dragon) showed additional graphics (maps) and differed in the number of countries to conquer.
