School Maze

School Maze is a video game in the adventure genre and published by Dragon Data Ltd. originally released in 1982. It is currently playable on Dragon 32/64.

Not as action-oriented as the better known School Daze, this is a primitive semi-graphic adventure game made in BASIC.

Your mission is to recover an important computer tape that has been lost somewhere in the school. You first find yourself represented by a small character on a map of the school, and you must go to the entrance of the school office to get a pass, after which you are free to move from room to room.

To move between rooms, while searching for clues, you have to press the keys representing the directions. Each room is illustrated with character block graphics, and some have special functions, such as the music room, where you can play notes on the keyboard, or the dining room, where you can eat. Moving around the school without looking at the map can be quite disorienting, as moving north and then south does not necessarily mean you end up in the same place.

It is possible that we have multiple downloads available when different versions exist.
