Description Seawolf

Seawolf is a decent BASIC game released by IPCO, the first PC publication, back in 1982.

You are the captain of a submarine given one minute to try to destroy as many PT boats, submarines and tankers as possible. Seawolf uses ASCII characters for its 'graphics', but they are surprisingly appropriate for the game. The torpedo sight is at the bottom of the screen, and you can fire one torpedo at a time at enemy ships speeding past at the top of the screen.

If you like arcade games in the style of Missile Command, you might enjoy this competently coded old game that unfortunately doesn't stand the test of time very well, especially since its primitive and simplistic gameplay has been made many times better, before and after its existence. It's worth a look for its nostalgic/historical value, but it's by no means a classic game.
