Shuttle Orbiter

Shuttle Orbiter is a video game in the action genre developed by Avalon Hill Game Company, The and published by Avalon Hill Game Company, The originally released in 1984. It is currently playable on Atari 2600.

You have to transport ten pieces from the orbiting factory to the unfinished space station. Unfortunately, a comet has passed close to Earth and left a space debris field (space junk) that you have to avoid.
After the launch, you will see the Earth surrounded by four colored dots. Underneath, you will see the elapsed time, the amount of fuel remaining and four indicator bars. These bars are your orbital altitude, and their colors correspond to the colors of the orbital points: white is the shuttle, gold is the station, red is the orbital factory and green is the bunker.

If the orbital altitude is lower than that of the object, it will move faster. If it is higher than the object, the speed of movement will be slower. To dock, you need to align your orbit and position with something. When you approach something, the screen will change to the piloting screen. This allows you to interact with the object or avoid it, such as debris. When you hit something, whether it is debris or an item in artificial orbit, it will start to lose fuel. This means that it will consume fuel even if it is not firing its thrusters. It also has a 25% chance of damaging parts in the cargo hold.

Game variations
The difficulty switch and select switch are not used. After pressing Fire on the joystick, move the stick up and down to select the difficulty from 0 to 3. Game 0 has no space debris.

There is no score, only the time you took and whether you were able to place all 10 pieces without running out of fuel.

It is possible that we have multiple downloads available when different versions exist.
