Terra Probe is a video game in the action genre developed by Dodgy Posse and published by Dodgy Posse originally released in 1999. It is currently playable on DOS.
Terra Probe is a single player, shareware, Boulder Dash type game.
The player controls a probe that traverses the earth creating a tunnel where it passes through. The object of the game is to collect all the diamonds to complete the level while avoiding falling rocks, mining droids chasing the player and, of course, not getting trapped.
In addition to the basic hazards, the player will also encounter pressure crushers that will turn rocks into gems, explosives, lasers and cave creatures. Once a level is cleared, a vortex appears that transports the player to the next level.
The game is controlled entirely with the keyboard.
