Up Side Town

Up Side Town is a video game in the educational genre developed by Makh-Shevet Ltd. and published by Makh-Shevet Ltd. originally released in 1993. It is currently playable on DOS.

The townspeople are alarmed: the wicked witch has been spotted riding around on her broomstick, casting her wicked spells and turning the town upside down. Only the good wizard Arthur can undo her evil spells, but he is nowhere to be found! Can you locate Arthur and help turn the town upside down?

Upside Town is an educational game for children ages 4 to 6, with a point-and-click adventure style, and English or Hebrew voices. The player controls a young boy trying to find the good wizard, exploring various locations in the town for clues and useful objects; woven into the plot are various puzzles and mini-games designed to develop coordination, memorization, and graphical/musical skills. The cursor changes shape to indicate objects of interest, and there is a simple click-and-drag inventory system. The mini-puzzles vary in difficulty, depending on the skill level chosen.
