Wordhang is a video game in the puzzle genre and published by Bourne Educational Software Ltd. originally released in 1984. It is currently playable on Amstrad CPC.
Wordhang is a word guessing game for one or two players, based on the pen-and-paper hangman game. In the two-player game, one player guesses a word and the other chooses it. In the two-player game, one player guesses a word and the other chooses it. One letter is guessed at a time, and if correct, the letter appears in a hyphenated word. If wrong, a man appears hanging from a scaffold. The game ends when the player guesses the word or the whole man appears and is hung. if there is only one player, the player chooses a group from various categories such as geography, transportation, mathematics, etc. If there is only one player, the computer chooses a word from among them. It is also possible to add words to the categories.
