Xyphoes Fantasy

Xyphoes Fantasy is a video game in the action genre and published by Silmarils originally released in 1991. It is currently playable on Amstrad CPC.

The evil Kan is spreading his power over the land of Norem, using his minions called Skull. As a brave warrior, an old wizard asks you to help him rid the land of Kan and the Skull.

The basic gameplay of Xyphoes Fantasy is similar to Shadow of the Beast or parts of Psychic World, in which you walk through a monster-infested landscape and the main task is to get as far as possible to the right without losing your life. In addition to walking, crouching and jumping, your warrior can send energy waves at the monsters. Potions and magic crystals improve your weapon or give you a protective shield. At each level, the wizard requires you to find a series of magic items that restore his power. After you have cleared the platform levels, you must face one of Kan's swordsmen and defeat him barbarian style. In the second level, you are given a horse to ride through the landscape, similar to Shinobi III.

It is possible that we have multiple downloads available when different versions exist.
