Description 2400 A.D.

In Origin's first sci-fi role-playing game and precursor to Space Rogue, you are chosen by the beleaguered resistance of planet XK-120 to lead the revolution against the sinister robotic oppressors. Bring freedom back to the city of Metropolis by fighting the robotic enemies, explore the cities and find a way to disable the robots' central control. The skill-based gameplay is reminiscent of Interplay's classic Wasteland, albeit much more simplistic.

Overall, a noble effort for its time that would soon be surpassed by better descendants, though the game's humor and fun gadgets would keep you captivated for hours. This game also deserves to be noted as Chuck 'Chuckle' Bueche's first design for Origin.
