Alligator Moeras is a video game in the action genre and published by Courbois Software originally released in 1983. It is currently playable on Commodore 64.
Alligator Moeras is an arcade game in which the player controls a monkey bouncing in a swamp. The objective is to collect as many coconuts as possible. This is achieved by bouncing the monkey against the nuts hanging from the two palm trees. The player can influence the direction of the monkey in the air. Using the number keys, the monkey can move left or right at different speeds. The monkey will bounce up and down automatically. Each time the monkey hits the swamp floor, this piece of ground will disappear. The next time the monkey lands on this spot it will end up under the ground and be eaten by an alligator. The player has several lives (monkeys) and each time the trees are collected they are refilled (but the ground is never rebuilt).
