Description Esprit

Esprit is the predecessor of Dongleware's Oxyd series of games, sharing the basic idea, control and many gameplay elements with those games. The control method and physical effects are heavily influenced by the earlier Bolo.

You control a ball in a world with physical rules, such as acceleration and gravitation. When you touch normal stones, they reveal a symbol. You have to open two stones with the same symbol in a row to block them. When all the stones are blocked, the level is finished. Therefore, the goal of the game is the same as in Memory. Saving the ball control, which can only be done with the mouse, in a world with ice on the ground, bumpers that catapult the ball in a different direction or with gravity points that attract the ball, is a very crucial element of the gameplay, too. There are many special objects to find, some notes give you hints, contain the level codes to start later in this level, allowing level jumping and more.

In total there are 100 levels that can be accessed with passwords.
