Lazer Beam Wars is a single player game that looks a lot like a Tron clone.
The player and the PC start with a different colored beam of light each, one on each side of the screen. The goal is to enclose the PC's opponent within an area bounded by the player's beam of light, and since it is not possible for a beam to make contact with any other light source, the opponent will eventually run out of space and die. Scattered around the playing area are planets and dots, contact with either of these is also fatal, the dots are either stars or space dust, it doesn't matter which, but what does matter is that their number increases as the game progresses.
The game is controlled entirely with the keyboard and has five levels of difficulty.
