The player controls a spaceship which must destroy a number of enemy ships, asteroids and other space debris, while avoiding collision with them. The ship is equipped with a limited supply of fuel, which must be replenished by docking with a space station. The game is split into a number of levels, each of which must be completed before the player can progress to the next.
The ship's controls are simple, consisting of a thrust button and a fire button. The thrust button is used to propel the ship forwards, while the fire button is used to fire the ship's weapons. The ship can only fire one shot at a time, and must be reloaded after each shot.
The game is presented in a first-person view, with the ship's cockpit taking up the majority of the screen. The player's score and fuel supply are displayed at the bottom of the screen.
